Location: Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaHeadquarters

The Selangor State Development Corporation's (PKNS) new headquarters building will be completed early 2013. The building will be an extension of the renowned Shah Alam lake garden and is targeted to become Malaysia's Green Building Index (GBI) platinum-certified, becoming a new green building icon for the city. Creative has been appointed to perform various energy and daylight simulations to help with the facade design and sizing of the Solar AC system.

    Issam Fares Institute

    Location: Beirut, LebanonEducational

    The Issam Fares Institute (IFI) for Public Policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beirut is designed not only to attract students and academics but also to draw local, regional and international researchers, thinkers and policy makers. The building is equipped with state-of-the-art low energy technologies and was designed by Pritzker Price Laureate Zaha Hadid.

    Location: Amman, JordanMixed Use

    Located at the heart of the Abdali new downtown, the Central Market Place is an an indoor/outdoor mixed use development combining elements of residential, leisure, retail and entertainment in an upscale environment. Designed in accordance with international standards as an ideal regional modern commercial complex it will be composed of two major components: a low-rise retail and entertainment complex and a high rise residential tower with health club amenities.

    Highly sustainable project achieving a BREEAM 'very good' rating, the facility provides a professional environment just next to Longsands College, which specialises in technology, media and the arts. The Creative Exchange Center serves about 20 fledgling firms working in these areas, with the opportunity for exchange of ideas with college students, as well as with each other.

    The CD PALACE is based on a design of multi-functional environment where individual functions, i.e. administration, shopping, culture, apartments, hotel, community and congress halls, fitness center, restaurants, etc. create a harmonic complex and induce a regeneration of the city environment.

    Location: Kent, UKPrivate Residence

    NORD, winner of the Young Architect of the Year award, responded to the natural drama of the site with a simple monumental black house, finished in tarred black shingles on the outside and in a beautiful palette of concrete and timber within. The house is equipped with dynamic installation coupled to heat pumps to reduce the heating energy demand.

    With the construction of a new headquarters in Reims, Charles and Piper-Heidsieck will be consolidating an already powerful corporate identity. State-of-the-art office complex, the design concentrates on maintaining and achieving the maximum comfort while harvesting climatic forces with strategic building's response.

  • The Secular Retreat

    The Secular Retreat

    Location: Devon, UKPrivate House

    Peter Zumthor, winner of the 2009 Pritzker Prize, one of the greatest architects in the world has designed a work of art to touch the soul: The Secular Retreat.
    The house will integrate the latest sustainable technologies and make use of an original rammed concrete that gives the building a thermal mass to maximize passive design.

    Based on the idea of a prism, the design seeks to respond and manipulate daylight and views. The form is composed of interwoven planes that respect the natural light access needs of the neighbours and controls light and views between the interior and exterior of the building.

    The future Hilton Hotel is located at the heart of River City Prague. Hosting more than 200 bedrooms the new hotel complex will be equipped with an innovative heat exchange and heat recovery system to achieve a high quality internal environment that provides optimum levels of occupant comfort throughout the year.

    Al Wathba

    Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEVilla Development

    Al Wathba villas have been designed as a part of a large luxury development in Abu Dhabi. UAE traditions were kept while sustainability was introduced through passive design methods such as an underground earth tube. This allows free-cooling in the villas and lots of fresh air for maximum internal environment quality.
